Abstract

This publication of the "2020 Jember Regency Human Development Index" is part of the efforts of the Jember Regency BPS in order to outline the problem of the welfare of the Jember Regency population by representing it in a Human Development Index scale. Please note that this publication presents the new method HDI figures. In calculating the HDI in the new method, several changes and adjustments have been made to the HDI, both the indicators used and the calculation technique. So it is hoped that the HDI figure of this new method is more valid and relevant in measuring human development achievements.
