Abstract

This publication is part of the efforts of BPS in Jember Regency in order to see an outline of the welfare problems of the residents of Jember Regency by representing it in a Human Development Index scale.This publication presents the new method HDI figures. In calculating the HDI a new method has been made several changes and adjustments to the HDI both the indicators used and the calculation techniques. So hopefully the new method HDI figures are more valid and relevant in measuring human development achievements.
