Abstract

In August 2023 there was month to month (mtm) inflation of 0.03 percent

with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 117.36.

From eight CPI cities in East Java, all districts experienced inflation. Inflation

the highest occurred in Sumenep Regency at 0.16 percent and the lowest inflation

occurred in Madiun City at 0.02 percent.

In August the month-to-month inflation rate was 0.03 percent; year-to-year inflation

date (ytd) of 1.48 percent, while year on year (yoy) of 4.26 percent.
