Gross Regional Domestic Product of Jember Regency by Industry 2016-2020

In essence, economic development is a series of businesses and policies aimed at improving people's lives, expanding employment, equalizing the distribution of community income, improving regional economic relations and through shifting economic activities from the primary sector to the secondary and tertiary sectors. In other words, the direction of economic development is to ensure that people's income rises, accompanied by the best level of equity possible.To find out the level and growth of community income, periodic national / regional income statistics need to be presented, to be used as material for national or regional development planning, especially in the economic field. National / regional income figures can also be used as an evaluation material from the results of economic development that have been carried out by various parties, both central / regional governments, and the private sector.
Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is the gross added value of all goods and services that are created or produced in the domestic territory of a country arising from various economic activities in a given period regardless of whether the production factors are owned by residents or non-residents. Preparation of GRDP can be done through 3 (three) approaches, namely the approach of production, expenditure, and income that is presented on the basis of current prices and constant prices.
