Abstract

The rice harvest area in 2024 reached 120.07 thousand hectares, a decrease of 0.12 thousand hectares or 0.10 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 120.19 thousand hectares.

Rice production in 2024 was 623.27 thousand tons of GKG, an increase of 6.54 thousand tons or 1.06 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 616.73 thousand tons of GKG.

Rice production in 2024 for population food consumption reached 359.89 thousand tons, an increase of 3.78 thousand tons or 1.06 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 356.11 thousand tons.
