Abstract

Jember's Human Development Index (HDI) in 2024 reached 70.93, an increase of 0.51 points (0.72 percent) compared to the previous year (70.42).

During 2020–2024, Jember's HDI increased by an average of 0.69 percent per year.

The increase in the 2024 HDI occurred in all dimensions, including longevity and healthy living, knowledge, and a decent standard of living.

The growth of the 2024 HDI accelerated from the previous year. All dimensions forming the HDI increased, especially in the decent standard of living dimension.
