Abstract

Population aged 15 years and over is recorded at 1.89 million people. Among them there are 1.26 million people in the workforce, a decrease of 7,198 people in the past year. The working population reached 1.22 million people, with the remaining 48 thousand people still unemployed.

The Open Unemployment Rate fell to 3.80 percent compared to 2018 which was recorded at 4.09 percent.

The population that works according to Main Employment has experienced a shift from 2018 in the Agriculture and Manufacture sectors respectively by 2.77 points and 1.47 points, respectively. While the Service sector increased by 4.24 points.

Most of the education of workers is still low (elementary and below) by 59.38 percent, while workers with higher education diplomas and above only 6.62 percent.
